Charlebois Farm is a professional hunter/jumper
stable located within the Portola
Valley Training
Center in Portola Valley, California.
This preeminent equestrian facility in Northern California offers eight
outdoor riding arenas, a 5/8 mile race track, a 150' by 300' lighted,
covered arena and plenty of open space.
As owner and trainer of Charlebois Farm, John Charlebois, along with assistant trainer Heather Lake and Jennifer Henderson,
oversee all aspects of the training program for both horse and rider. He
provides personalized training programs specifically designed to fit the
needs and expectations of his clients.

John Charlebois is a lifelong, equestrian
professional. At age seven, he began riding horses in Quebec, Canada,
and has ridden hunters and jumpers ever since. He graduated from Morven Park International Equestrian Institute in Virginia and taught riding at St. Lawrence
University in Canton,
New York.
In 1979, Charlebois managed the North American
World Cup team that competed in the World Cup event in Sweden. He then came to California in 1980, where he was manager and
trainer at Chalk Hill Ranch, and in 1987 started
the Chalk Hill Winery
Equestrian Center. Charlebois
moved to Petaluma then to Portola Valley where he now owns and
operates Charlebois Farm.
John Charlebois was the former President of the
Northern Chapter of California Professional Horsemen's Association, and a
former board member of the International Jumper Futurity. He is a big
"R" Registered Judge with United States Equestrian Federation
(USEF), and has competed throughout the United
States and Canada as a rider and
trainer.
Today, Charlebois continues to concentrate his
career as a rider, trainer, clinician
and judge.
